I am Jimmy (Jimbo) Wales, founder of Wikipedia and co-founder (with Angela Beesley) of Wikia. I have never really been a frequent flier mile addict, except that I am forced to by my circumstances. I travel all over the world to talk about Wikipedia and Wikia and the future of community-driven media (move over, dinosaur media, the people are here!). Other people pay for virtually all of my travel, but I can save them money and make my life nicer if I can do the right things about frequent flyer miles.

My primary airline is Continental, where I am Platinum. I intend to become 1K on United this year as well, if I can, not because United is all that useful to me right now but because I travel a lot and the universe is conspiring to force me to move to San Francisco, which I understand is a United town. :-)

And I have a ton of American miles as well, just because I have an AAdvantage Visa card for many years.
